Good afternoon everyone, and happy weekend! I know it's been reeeaaaally long since I last updated, but please don't worry – I haven't forgotten about you all!

It has been really busy here though, and it's been a little difficult trying to set aside some time to do a blog… Not to mention that there are days I'm on-duty alone amongst the team, so I have to handle operational duties for both the Singapore and International offices!

Recently, our team has been thinking of ways to communicate better! It's a bit harder for us than for the other teams in the company, as there are still some physical offices active in Japan and everyone is generally in the same place. 'm the only one who lives outside of Japan and we're always relying on calls and work chats!

I do miss days when we had our physical office, and – if some of you remember – when Rei and Jack were still around, and we were able to have meals together, or simply chat in the office, things like that.

While working from home can be really nice (no commute to speak of, unless you count walking from the bed to the desk "commute" lol), the human touch is something I miss greatly! Perhaps there will come a time when I'll be able to do so again – or at least be able to meet my current teammates once borders reopen and I can travel to Japan again!

Well, I hope everyone has been able to cope well! Pandemic fatigue is very real, so don't forget to take care of yourself and rest well!
